Optase Moist Heat Mask is required to have an expiry date as a medical device.
We don't advise using the Optase Moist Heat Mask after the expiry date because the heating properties of the hydro beads have not been tested after this time and therefore, we cannot guarantee its effectiveness or safety. While it might seem surprising that a heat mask would expire, this date is set to ensure product quality, safety, and optimal performance.
It is recommended to replace the mask after 6 months of use, even if it hasn't reached its expiration date (which is printed on the box).
